Hello KAY PHI YOW! Welcome to our space! I was so moved today after reading all of the emails and listening to countless recollections of how Coach Yow has affected your lives and how much she means to you. I felt so inspired and so uplifted that I did not want it to end. I kept thinking there must be something I could do to keep us all connected and to keep this going. Of course there's always email, facebook and myspace but I thought this would be a really nice place for all of us to come and share stories and stay connected with each other. We really have something special Wolfpack Family and its all because of one person...to some she's a friend..to some she's a sister...to some she's a mother...but to all she's is an example and most importantly she is our leader. Your words were so candid and so special and I hope we can keep this going. I hope that you all will enjoy reading and sharing your thoughts as we once again come together as one family to lift the spirits of our leader of the pack (Coach Yow). Talisha Scates Class of 2002
Leader of the Pack

Hello Everyone! As the e-mails have been coming in for the last 2 days, I have sat and read them fighting back tears, knowing I should jump in expressing my thoughts but not sure how to write what I am feeling. I don’t think words of any kind can truly express that. All the thoughts, feelings and emotions everyone has shared in these e-mails have been the same for me as with everyone. I do know that Kay Yow is responsible for the success I have today in my job as well as the success in all aspects of my life. She instilled in me to fight hard, believe in myself and believe in others. There is never a time in which I am having trouble getting something done and problems keep arriving that I don’t think of Coach Yow and her famous line “one more time” and usually with that thought and effort the job gets accomplished. I am also from that first wolfpack team in the 70’s and so very proud to be a part of the “Wolfpack family”. We are wide spread and far reaching but that bond is stronger than anyone outside our family could imagine Once you have played for Coach Yow, you are her child. She never forgets you, always stays in touch and always is interested in what you are doing. She has never been too busy to talk / listen if that is what you need. I will say this again, she has always been my inspiration and I will be honored and pleased to share in the prayer at noon (great idea Ronnie) and have ask that the employee’s here also join in. The power of prayer is phenomenal individually but collectively with the “Wolfpack family” the power of power for Coach Yow will be astronomical. I do believe we should all try to attend the Hoops for Hope and show how strong our love is for Coach Yow. I will see you there, I hope. I love you all.Lulu Eure, Class of 78
