Hello KAY PHI YOW! Welcome to our space! I was so moved today after reading all of the emails and listening to countless recollections of how Coach Yow has affected your lives and how much she means to you. I felt so inspired and so uplifted that I did not want it to end. I kept thinking there must be something I could do to keep us all connected and to keep this going. Of course there's always email, facebook and myspace but I thought this would be a really nice place for all of us to come and share stories and stay connected with each other. We really have something special Wolfpack Family and its all because of one person...to some she's a friend..to some she's a sister...to some she's a mother...but to all she's is an example and most importantly she is our leader. Your words were so candid and so special and I hope we can keep this going. I hope that you all will enjoy reading and sharing your thoughts as we once again come together as one family to lift the spirits of our leader of the pack (Coach Yow). Talisha Scates Class of 2002

To all the Wolfpack Women,
This site is awesome!!! Thanks Talisha!!! Faye, thanks for getting this ball rolling and Ronnie thanks for the daily prayer time for Coach Yow. I am with all of you as a prayer warrior for our leader and really all other women who are battling this same battle. I am also in favor of the birthday gift. I can only imagine how Coach Yow has been encouraged by all our love for her and each other. I truly believe there is not a program in the country who can come close to our tradition and love for one head coach. We are one of a kind because she is one of a kind. The Hoops for Hope weekend in 2007 was unbelievable and I can only pray that 2009 can make just as big of an impact. There is not a day in my life when I do not reflect back on my 5 short years at NC State. I am eternally thankful and grateful for each player, manager, trainer and coach that came before me to lead the way to an even stronger more competitve program. We know Coach Yow has been an incredible and unbreakable foundation for each of us, the program and NC State University. Every time I go back to campus she makes me feel as though I never left. Our tradition will continue and I look forward to seeing everyone at the Hoops for Hope weekend in a few short weeks. Thanks for all the words of encourgagement over these past few weeks.
God bless,
