Hi Everyone. I can't tell you how much the emails from former players have meant at this time. I'm sure I'm not the only one that gets a little teary eyed reading them as I feel closer than ever to every one that is a part of the Wolfpack Family. It is such an awesome reminder about how great our family is!I just wanted to share a little something with you. Yesterday, after hearing the news about Coach Yow, the team got together to pray. We thanked God for Coach Yow.... we thanked God for our Wolfpack Family... and we thanked God for all the support we have. After the prayer, we got in a huddle with our hands high, together as one, to say our traditional "Wolfpack Women....on the way to number one together" cheer. It was at that point that Steph asked the players if they realized the true meaning of that cheer. She pointed out the fact that every former player had held their hand in a huddle just like ours and repeated the same cheer. All of a sudden, the cheer had so much more meaning. I could hear it in their voices. It was as if they wanted Coach Yow and all of you to hear them. I can promise you that no one will ever say that cheer again without thinking about everyone that has been a part of the Wolfpack Family. I just thought you should know that. We really are bound for life....just like Coach Yow planned. :)The team and coaches really appreciate all of your support!!
Love you all,Jenny
Hello KAY PHI YOW! Welcome to our space! I was so moved today after reading all of the emails and listening to countless recollections of how Coach Yow has affected your lives and how much she means to you. I felt so inspired and so uplifted that I did not want it to end. I kept thinking there must be something I could do to keep us all connected and to keep this going. Of course there's always email, facebook and myspace but I thought this would be a really nice place for all of us to come and share stories and stay connected with each other. We really have something special Wolfpack Family and its all because of one person...to some she's a friend..to some she's a sister...to some she's a mother...but to all she's is an example and most importantly she is our leader. Your words were so candid and so special and I hope we can keep this going. I hope that you all will enjoy reading and sharing your thoughts as we once again come together as one family to lift the spirits of our leader of the pack (Coach Yow). Talisha Scates Class of 2002
