I see that there are alot of older alumni writing but it is amazing how strong we all share the same love and respect for as T said our leader! I find myself lately praying for coach yow more than I do myself that's just the impact she has had on my life! T I def agree and I'm sure there are millions of others who agree as well so I will say that our pack is very strong...stronger than any sickness! I've been a part of the wolfpack family every since I was in the 5th grade and went to my first Kay Yow camp! I was sold on Coach Yow and what she believed in that very moment! As a younger alumni I also look up to my older "pack family" as I do my biological family, and I thank you soooo much for these words for encouragment bc I could not for the life of me understand why such good ppl go through things such as Coach Yow but I hear her saying as she always did...Lean not on your own understanding! Then I see all the love and encouraging words so I quickly lifted my head dried my eys and lifted my prayers with my fellow pack family...As Coach Yow would say...I swished my feet in self pity but I did not wallow in it :)
Q
Hello KAY PHI YOW! Welcome to our space! I was so moved today after reading all of the emails and listening to countless recollections of how Coach Yow has affected your lives and how much she means to you. I felt so inspired and so uplifted that I did not want it to end. I kept thinking there must be something I could do to keep us all connected and to keep this going. Of course there's always email, facebook and myspace but I thought this would be a really nice place for all of us to come and share stories and stay connected with each other. We really have something special Wolfpack Family and its all because of one person...to some she's a friend..to some she's a sister...to some she's a mother...but to all she's is an example and most importantly she is our leader. Your words were so candid and so special and I hope we can keep this going. I hope that you all will enjoy reading and sharing your thoughts as we once again come together as one family to lift the spirits of our leader of the pack (Coach Yow). Talisha Scates Class of 2002
