Hello KAY PHI YOW! Welcome to our space! I was so moved today after reading all of the emails and listening to countless recollections of how Coach Yow has affected your lives and how much she means to you. I felt so inspired and so uplifted that I did not want it to end. I kept thinking there must be something I could do to keep us all connected and to keep this going. Of course there's always email, facebook and myspace but I thought this would be a really nice place for all of us to come and share stories and stay connected with each other. We really have something special Wolfpack Family and its all because of one person...to some she's a friend..to some she's a sister...to some she's a mother...but to all she's is an example and most importantly she is our leader. Your words were so candid and so special and I hope we can keep this going. I hope that you all will enjoy reading and sharing your thoughts as we once again come together as one family to lift the spirits of our leader of the pack (Coach Yow). Talisha Scates Class of 2002

To the Wolfpack Family:Ronnie Laughlin, that is a great idea! A set prayer time for Coach Yow at 12:00 noon each day! Count me in! Tynesha Lewis, your must be called to the ministry at some point in the future if not already, because you have inspired us all with your use of scripture! Faye Young Miller, Genia Beasley, Debbie Davis, and everyone who has responded to Felicia's email already... your words are lifting my spirit!I believe our time on this earth is just the practice for what comes next... Just as our coaches would train us physically, mentally, and emotionally, I believe God is doing the same thing. We can choose to be great at practice... by doing God's will while we are on earth, or we can choose to be slackers... by ignoring God. I am so thankful for having spent time under the instruction of the role model for the perfect practice player; Coach Yow. How many people do you know who have been and continue to be fully and completely devoted to God, regardless of the challenges placed before her? What a blessing we have been given... to have learned from one of the great disciples of Christ, Coach Yow.Blessing to all of you, to the team, and especially to Coach Yow. Go Wolfpack!Lynn DavidsonOne of the really OLD alums... Class of '79!
