Hello KAY PHI YOW! Welcome to our space! I was so moved today after reading all of the emails and listening to countless recollections of how Coach Yow has affected your lives and how much she means to you. I felt so inspired and so uplifted that I did not want it to end. I kept thinking there must be something I could do to keep us all connected and to keep this going. Of course there's always email, facebook and myspace but I thought this would be a really nice place for all of us to come and share stories and stay connected with each other. We really have something special Wolfpack Family and its all because of one person...to some she's a friend..to some she's a sister...to some she's a mother...but to all she's is an example and most importantly she is our leader. Your words were so candid and so special and I hope we can keep this going. I hope that you all will enjoy reading and sharing your thoughts as we once again come together as one family to lift the spirits of our leader of the pack (Coach Yow). Talisha Scates Class of 2002

To all the Wolfpack Women:
Such is a time for us to put all our efforts into a laser, pinpoint focus of concentrated attention and mindfulness of the power of positive affirmations, prayer, whatever you choose to call accessing the one higher power. It is within all of us and within Coach Yow as well. As some of us were there in the beginning of Coach Yow'null career, back in the late 70'null, we will be there for the duration, because of the love and admiration for such a wonderful role model, surrogate mother, coach of basketball as well as life skills. She has helped to mold us into successful, positive contributors to our families, to our communities, and within our professional circles. Whether spoken or just thoughts in our hearts and minds, we will all voice our steadfastness in our love and support, as we continue to lift up our spirits and lift up those around us. We continue to stand together, united against all odds, and help in any way we can. We will never give up hope.Like Coach Yow used to say in our practices, "you know what I mean?" Let'null go one more time.... for as long as it takes. As I know we all are in offensive mode right now, I know for Coach Yow and for all the Wolfpack Women, that there is nothing, no dis-ease, no idea, that cannot be transmuted into positive energy and love. So stay in offensive mode (I always liked offense :-) ), stay positive and strong. Stay one step ahead, one level higher than all things perceived as negative or harmful. Thanks and gratitude to Stephanie, null, and null for stepping up to the challenges they will face for the duration of the season. We are all 110% BEHIND YOU!!!I love you all and look forward to our next event together. Until then, united in thought and mind and spirit. I AM null G. nullProud to be null
