Hello KAY PHI YOW! Welcome to our space! I was so moved today after reading all of the emails and listening to countless recollections of how Coach Yow has affected your lives and how much she means to you. I felt so inspired and so uplifted that I did not want it to end. I kept thinking there must be something I could do to keep us all connected and to keep this going. Of course there's always email, facebook and myspace but I thought this would be a really nice place for all of us to come and share stories and stay connected with each other. We really have something special Wolfpack Family and its all because of one person...to some she's a friend..to some she's a sister...to some she's a mother...but to all she's is an example and most importantly she is our leader. Your words were so candid and so special and I hope we can keep this going. I hope that you all will enjoy reading and sharing your thoughts as we once again come together as one family to lift the spirits of our leader of the pack (Coach Yow). Talisha Scates Class of 2002

Wolfpack Women, I can not begin to describe the emotions I have been experiencing in the last two days. The e-mails expressing your love and concern for Coach Yow has touched me in so many ways. I always knew wolfpack women shared a special bond with each other. The bond started for most of us the day we meet Coach Yow. The impact that Coach Yow continues to have on our life's is immeasurable. She has taught us that the Lord leads the way and all we have to do is follow. As we rally in prayer for Coach Yow, I think it would be honoring her if we also rally around the women that has face cancer within our Wolfpack Family. I feel like this would lift Coach Yow Spirit to know that as we are praying for her we are also praying for our teammates that have had to face this challenge as well. I can not think of a better way to honor her work and support with cancer survivors then to take care of our wolfpack women survivors. I know this is a very personal subject for most cancer survivors. Unfortunately, I found out first hand in 2006 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. When Coach Yow found out I had breast cancer the support and love was tremendous. She gave me the will and determination to fight and fight hard. The way she is handling her battle with breast cancer is a testimony in itself. So if you are a wolfpack women "cancer survivor", please e-mail the wolfpack women and let us rally around you as well. We will add your name to Ronnie's 12:00 prayer ( Ronnie that was such a great idea). I would personally like to add you to my "cancer sisters" prayer. Each night before I say my prayers, I light a special candle for my "cancer sisters". This brings me closer to those that have had the battle or are going through the battle. God heals with prayer. The power of prayer is strong. June Doby Hill1980
